Nature Will Prevail - No 1
California’s landscape is drastically changing from the recent fires and atmospheric rivers. As the environment and wildlife suffer all over the world from global warming, so do we. I often wonder when enough of us will wake up and demand that our politicians and companies stop the madness and greed contributing to this unfolding catastrophe. These thoughts haunt me often.
When I feel hopeless about climate change, I go for a walk along a path that was once a road. The remaining remnants sit on an active, deep-seated landslide that continues to move and shift the land towards the ocean. Nature has transformed this road into a wandering path with lush vegetation - a magical path from the past. It is a vivid reminder, nature will prevail even if we don’t.
