Drumbeat of Daily Lies
I wrote this two days ago and debated sharing it. There are plenty of negative posts circulating about the U.S. government and for good reason. We all know what’s happening, and each of us will have to decide how we respond to this regime. This will be my last post coming from a place of anger, at least for a while. I want to focus on clarity, resolve, and what comes next.

The drumbeat of daily lies
from this rogue regime
takes a heavy, physical toll.
So much so, it’s palpable.
Many Americans no longer believe
what the government says.
On any level.
Blatant lies abound.
We try to move through our days
with some form of normalcy,
but the constant barrage of bad news
makes it practically impossible.
Fatigued, we ask, “What’s next?”
Fear creeps in.
For all of us.
Fear of speaking up,
of posting, of being seen.
Who’s next?
At what point do we say NO! to this government?

There are glimmers of hope.
I hold them tightly, refusing to let go.
🌿
May we overcome this moment.
Somehow. Someway.
May sanity regain a footing
before it is too late.
